Inland heat advisory extended through the weekend

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego County's inland areas will remain hot through the weekend, The National Weather Service said Saturday.

The NWS Saturday extended Friday's heat advisory through 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Highs were reported to be in the high 90s at the inland valleys, mountains and deserts.

Low clouds and fog will appear along the coast in the nights and mornings. Slightly cooler weather was expected next week.
