SAN DIEGO — A brush fire burned 60 acres near Otay Mesa Friday.
No one was injured in the fire, dubbed the Border 36 Fire, Cal Fire San Diego said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Once the fire broke out, it was moving in a southernly direction, towards the U.S.-Mexico border.
No structures were threatened by the blaze.
