Long-time San Diego arts leader Alan Ziter is retiring after 43 years of advancing and promoting arts and culture. For 20 years, Ziter worked for the NTC Foundation, which oversees Liberty Station. He helped develop community programs there and he build it up to be the arts district that it is today. Alan Ziter joined Fox 5 to talk about his career and what's next for him after he retires.

An 8-year-old is back home after spending over four months at the hospital.

"Housing First works for some -- it's not the panacea that everyone expects it to be," said San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond, who joined local leaders at a news conference Friday, saying the state government's housing policy has backfired.
