CARLSBAD, Calif. – A traffic collision that temporarily shut down two northbound lanes on Interstate 5 have reopened in Carlsbad, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Officials say a multi-vehicle crash located near Las Flores Drive prompted the lane closures around 4 p.m. to clean up the scene but authorities reopened all lanes about an hour later.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
