SAN DIEGO — Lauren Brown plays many roles for the Academy of Our Lady of Peace.

In the morning, she serves as the bubbly co-anchor for her high school’s news broadcast, Pilot TV. In the afternoon, the senior turns into a fierce competitor in the circle that opponents don’t want to face.

“I am definitely very competitive,” said Brown. “I want to do my best for the girls and do well for the school and bring some OLP pride.”

Brown has figured out a way to bring pride to the Pilots both on and off the field. With a 4.0 GPA, sparkling personality and wicked curve ball, the UCSD softball commit has proven invaluable for both her TV team and softball team.
