Your Los Angeles Chargers lost more than just their game against the Green Bay Packers this past weekend, as star defensive edge rusher Joey Bosa left the game early on with an injury. He was seen in a walking boot shortly after, and now will be heading to the injured list with a foot sprain.

Bosa will miss at least four games, and head coach Brandon Staley didn't mince words about a possible return for the star this season. In all likelihood, it will depend on where the Chargers are in the standings, and if it makes sense to bring him back.

The way that the Charger year has been going, one wouldn't expect to see Bosa back this season. LA fell to 4-6 on the season with their loss to Green Bay, and things aren't looking promising for them.

Without Bosa, the defense will need to find a way to replicate his production, which could be tough. With him in the lineup, they have struggled this season, so without him, it may prove costly.

Bosa put up 20 combed tackles and six sacks this year for the Bolts, but it was his presence that made the defense tick. His ability to get into the backfield quickly to disrupt offenses allowed others to make plays.

The Bolts are going to have to go with the next-man-up mentality when it comes to things to replace Bosa, but they are limited in their options. This is a very tough loss for this Chargers team, and we hope that we get to see the star edge rusher back on the field sooner rather than later.
