Rams owner plans to build NFL stadium in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – St. Louis Rams owner is planning on building a professional football stadium in Inglewood, Calif., it was reported Monday.

Rams owner Stan Kroenke bought 60 acres of land and has teamed up with Stockbridge Capital Group, who owns 238-acres at the Hollywood Park site, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Kroenke’s plan would add a 80,000 seat NFL stadium and performance venue to a retail, office, hotel and residential area, the Times reported.

It would pave way for an NFL team to call Los Angeles home.
