Padres to salute Air Force, Air National Guard Sunday

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Padres will conduct a Salute to the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard at Sunday’s 1:10 p.m. game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Petco Park.

A pregame ceremony will include 100 Air Force and Air National Guard representatives from March Air Reserve Base, the Air National Guard and Civil Air Patrol lining the baselines.

Nine members of the Air Force and Air National Guard will take the field with the Padres starting lineup.

Medical Service Corps Lt. Jeffrey Collins will perform the national anthem.
