SAN DIEGO – LaDainian Tomlinson revealed he doesn’t think Philip Rivers will remain a San Diego Chargers player after the next season.
The former Chargers running back said Monday on NFL Network that the 33-year-old quarterback was not happy with team and the potential changes with the organization.
“I don’t’ know if Philip wants to be there anymore. I think he’s lost confidence in the organization,” LT said Monday. “He didn’t even want to talk about another contract with the San Diego Chargers. That tells me that he’s thinking about moving on.”
Rumors about a potential trade of Rivers to another NFL team surfaced weeks ago. Rivers has one year remaining on his contract and a trade could be in Chargers favor.
