Woman, 25, found dead in Pacific Beach

SAN DIEGO — The death of a 25-year-old woman in Pacific Beach overnight was ruled a suicide, investigators said Monday.

Officers received a report of an apparent suicide in the 2000 block of Oliver Avenue at 11:17 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police homicide acting Lt. Manuel Del Toro.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the woman was unconscious and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, he said in a statement, adding that she was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:42 p.m.

San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office completed an autopsy Monday and declared her death a suicide.

Her name was withheld pending notification of her next of kin.
