SAN DIEGO – City workers quickly gained control of a broken water main in Ocean Beach Sunday afternoon.
The water main broke at the 4100 block of Voltaire Street around 4:15 p.m., San Diego police said.
The water was turned off in the area while San Diego Water Department crews repaired the break and cleaned up the muddy street.
It was unknown how long the water would be off to residents and businesses.
Drivers should avoid the area.
