SAN DIEGO — A seven-hour car trip is a test of endurance under the best of circumstances, but it can be much worse if you and your traveling companion don’t like the same kind of music.

San Diego emergency dispatcher Brian Anderson hoped to make the best of the trip by preparing a pop song playlist. Then he tried to amuse himself and his sister by lip-syncing to the tunes for four straight hours.

The 20-song medley included songs by The Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Nelly, Blink 182, N’Sync, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood and many more. Anderson performed each number with flair and enthusiasm, but his sister was clearly unimpressed. According to Anderson, she didn’t appreciate his choice of music or his performances.

Anderson uploaded a video compilation of his performance and his sister’s reactions to YouTube. It’s definitely worth watching.
