UPS driver gets help for stabbing victim

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A UPS driver contacted authorities after spotting a stabbing victim in Oceanside, police said.

Around 5:50 p.m., the driver saw a man suffer multiple stab wounds in a fight on Neptune Way near North Pacific Street, according to Oceanside police.

Medics airlifted the 50-year-old man to the hospital, where he underwent surgery for upper-body wounds. His injuries were considered life-threatening, authorities said.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.
