NASHVILLE, TN– Four days and endless hours of country music later, Music City comes to a still.

Rain or shine, and there was plenty of both, thousands of people crowded Broadway Avenue in downtown Nashville to take part in the four day music festival.  While the CMA Music Fest is touted as a four day event, in all honestly its more like a 7 day event!

Starting the Monday before, entertainers begin having parties and charity events and record labels launch parties.  So, technically, a fan could get into some serious country music that week, but for many four days is enough!

This year there were 11 stages set up through the downtown area of Nashville offering artist after artist, many newcomers but some familiar faces like Brett Eldridge, Danielle Peck, Joe Nichols, Phil Vassar, and Pam Tillis.  All FREE concerts, mind you.

The only paying concerts were the nightly LP Field shows which headlined entertainers like Kelly Clarkson, Lady A, Glorianna, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley and ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan.  And, literally—that’s JUST naming a few!

No matter what you did, where you went, music flooding the streets-pouring out of every honky tonk around Broadway.

For country music fans, like myself, you just can’t go wrong!

Until next year CMA, keep playing!
