Motorcyclist’s good deed on SR-163 goes viral

SAN DIEGO – A motorcyclist and other drivers came to the rescue of a woman trapped in her overturned car on a San Diego highway and video from a camera mounted to a helmet captured it all.

The video from a motorcyclist’s helmet camera was posted online a year ago, but recently went viral.

The motorcyclist weaved in traffic on southbound SR-163 until he came upon the crash. Several people were attempting to get the restrained woman from the car.

Watch the video to see how the Good Samaritans were able to rescue the woman before paramedics and police arrived.

The woman in the crash told Fox5 since the video has gone viral, she was able to get in touch with the motorcyclist to personally thank him.   She’s grateful for everyone who came to her aid.
