SAN DIEGO – As always, there’s another new teen trend hitting the Internet.  It’s called the #dontjudgechallenge, but ironically, it’s drawing criticism from other teens who say it’s promoting the wrong message.

Teens are intentionally making themselves look “unattractive” by putting on glasses, moles, fake acne, drawing on extra thick eyebrows and darkening their teeth, to then turn around and make themselves “beautiful.” They are taking these drastic transformations and posting them on social media.

There are teens who don’t like the trend at all. They say these videos actually mock individuals who may not be considered attractive and it’s sending a negative message to other teens.
