LOS ANGELES – “Top Chef” is returning to San Diego, in addition to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, San Francisco and Oakland.

In fact, Season 13 of Bravo’s top-rated cooking show is going to be lucky for California in general, Los Angeles Times reported.

The show, hosted by Padma Lakshmi with head judge Tom Colicchio and judges Gail Simmons and Richard Blais, is returning to its California roots. The first two seasons were filmed in San Francisco and Los Angeles, but it hasn’t returned since, with the exception of some featured challenges.

Shooting will begin in late spring. The exact schedule of when the crew will be visiting the different cities has yet to be announced.
