Suspect sought in IHOP robbery

SAN DIEGO — San Diego police sought Monday a man who robbed an IHOP restaurant in the Redwood Village area.

The suspect demanded cash and threatened an employee at the eatery on University Avenue near 58th Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police. No weapons were seen.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available, but police said he was black and had on a green beanie and a black sweater.
