Kids hurt when stolen car crashes with SUV

SAN DIEGO – A report of a stolen vehicle prompted a police chase through Paradise Hills Tuesday that ended with the suspect’s car crashing through an intersection and hitting a sports utility vehicle with a mother and two children inside.

San Diego police pursed a stolen dark green Honda car with three teenagers inside around 6:30 p.m., authorities said.

The pursuit ended with the stolen vehicle colliding with a white Ford Expedition at the intersection of Reo and Rancho Hills Drive.

Three teenagers in the stolen vehicle were injured, SDPD said.  The extent of their injuries were unknown.

The two children were transported to Rady Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.  The mother was uninjured.
