SAN DIEGO – Deputies are asking for help in identifying a man wanted for following two students walking home from Santana High School.

Two teen girls told a Santee Sheriff’s station school deputy about being followed on September 21 and 24. Both incidents happened around 3 p.m., according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

The man was driving a white 2000 Chevy pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed when he followed the two teen girls walking along Mast Boulevard.

Both students went home and told their parents.

The suspect is in his late 20s, clean-shaven and possibly Hispanic or Indian with a dark complexion, Crime Stoppers reported. He wore a baseball hat and dark colored t-shirt.

Anyone with information should call San Diego County Sheriff’s Department at 858-565-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. A $1,000 reward has been offered in this case.
