SAN DIEGO – Police were on the lookout Wednesday for a gunman and his accomplice involved in a shooting at Lomita Park that sent one man to the hospital.
The victim was reportedly sitting in a car in Lomita Park just before 9 p.m. Tuesday when two men walked up and issued a gang challenge. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired three rounds into the car, hitting the victim in the elbow, police said.
One of the suspects was described as 19-years-old and was last seen wearing a brown-striped polo shirt. No other description was available. The shooting victim was expected to be okay.
