Search for assault suspect underway in South Bay

IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. – The search for a man considered armed and dangerous was underway in South Bay Tuesday, authorities said.

Jacob Rice, 35, is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, felony vandalism and drug possession while armed, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

The Hispanic man has a mix of grey and black hair with brown eyes and several tattoos on his chest.  He is known for hanging out in Imperial Beach.

The circumstances surrounding the charges against him were not disclosed.

Crime Stoppers is working with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Fugitive Task Force to find Rice.
