SAN DIEGO – Arnold Schwarzenegger visited hundreds of Marines at Camp Pendleton Sunday and gave them an advanced screening of his latest action movie “Terminator Genisys.”
Schwarzenegger thanked members of the military and their families for their service to the United States while introducing the movie at a special screening. Sunday’s event was the first screening of the movie in the United States.
“This is the land of opportunity and the greatest county in the world because of you,” Schwarzenegger said while addressing the crowd.
There is no other country in the world where an immigrant from Austria can rise to worldwide stardom, with all of it made possible by the military, Schwarzenegger said.
Terminator Genisys premieres in theaters July 1.
