Shelter-in-place ordered after gas leak in City Heights

SAN DIEGO– Residents in a City Heights neighborhood were asked to stay in their homes after a gas leak occurred Friday morning, said officials.

The gas leak was reported around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Auburn Drive and Euclid Avenue.

Mónica Munoz with San Diego Fire-Rescue told FOX 5 that crews were sheltering people in place.

No injuries were reported.
