ANAHEIM, Calif. - Power has been restored at Disneyland after an outage shut down about a dozen attractions in the park Wednesday.

All attractions are up and operating except the Big Thunder Mountain ride, spokeswoman Elva Rubalcava said.

"As for refunds, it will be on a case-by-case situation handled by guest services," Rubalcava said.

The outage was due to an issue with a transformer.  It took out power to the Toontown area, parts of Fantasyland, and the Big Thunder Mountain attraction, which is adjacent to Fantasyland, said Brown. About a dozen attractions were affected and guests were escorted off the rides.

In a tweet posted at 1 p.m., the company said Disneyland Park was only accepting guests for re-entry, while Disney California Adventure Park remained open.

The power outage came as Disneyland, decorated for the Christmas season, is expected to see holiday crowds.
