SAN DIEGO – Voters who need help finding their polling places can log on to the California secretary of state’s website.  They also can contact their county election officials.

Polling places also are printed on the backs on sample ballots mailed to every registered voter a few weeks ago.

Polls are open throughout the state today from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters who still are hanging on to their mail ballots may drop them off at any polling place today until 8 p.m.

To be decided today are all the statewide offices, including governor, all of California’s 53 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, all 80 Assembly district seats and half the seats in the 40-member state Senate.

Voters also will decide six statewide ballot measures, and many local jurisdictions also are holding elections today.
