Democratic debate to be held at UCLA on Dec. 19

LOS ANGELES — The Democratic National Committee announced Friday that the sixth Democratic debate will take place on Dec. 19 at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, hosted by the PBS NewsHour and POLITICO.

The debate will air live on PBS and be live-streamed across PBS NewsHour digital platforms on the web, mobile and connected TVs and on POLITICO’s digital and social platforms. Broadcast partners are committed to providing accessible communications for deaf and disabled audience, according to a DNC statement.

To qualify for the December debate stage, candidates must demonstrate broad-based support by meeting both a grassroots fundraising requirement and one of two polling requirements. The deadline for qualifying polls and donations is Dec. 12 at 11:59 p.m.
