CORONADO, Calif. – Neighbors were on alert as police attempted to serve a warrant in Coronado Thursday morning.

Police served a search warrant at 307 G Avenue at 10:40 a.m. in regards to an ongoing investigation related to an assault with a deadly weapon case that took place in August.  Investigators used a flash-bang before entering into the home.

Neighbors were told to shelter in place while officers were in the area.

Police did not take anyone into custody and no weapons were fired, investigators said.

The area was cleared by 11:30 p.m.
