SAN DIEGO — Authorities asked the public Friday for help in tracking down two suspects in a gang-related stabbing that wounded a man near Brengle Terrace Park.

The victim and several companions were walking in the 700 block of North Citrus Avenue in Vista when three youths attacked them shortly before 9:30 p.m. on June 1, according to sheriff’s officials.

One of the assaulted men was hospitalized with non-lethal knife wounds. His name has not been released. No other serious injuries were reported.

Authorities have disclosed no suspected motivation for the violence.

One of the alleged assailants, Felipe A. Moreno, 22, was arrested this week and jailed on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and gang allegations.

Two other suspects in the case, Abel Abrego, 22, and 21-year-old Lucas Cantabrana, remain at large. Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org.

Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
