Police looking for pair of 7-Eleven robbers

7-Eleven Store CrimeSAN DIEGO — A tall, skinny masked gunman and an accomplice robbed a 7-Eleven in Allied Gardens early Tuesday, police said.

The robbery at 5102 Waring Road was reported at 3:17 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The gunman and a second man entered the store and demanded cash, Delimitros said in a statement. The cashier complied and the men fled on foot through the convenience store’s parking lot, he said.

Police described the gunman as black and around 6 feet, with a thin build. He wore a red handkerchief over his face and dark pants, Delimitros said.

His accomplice was also black, shorter, and he wore a black shirt and white shorts, according to the officer.
