A security agent saw the men enter a Rite Aid at 531 N. Glendale Avenue on Saturday and put cans of Enfamil baby formula in their purses, the Glendale News-Press reported. Then, the suspects left the store without paying, which led to the agent stopping them.

Police identified the suspect as Samuel Frank, 28, of Glendale and Darrin White, 20, of Long Beach.

A search of Frank’s vehicle revealed 24 Enfamil cans scattered on the floorboard, 10 of which were allegedly stolen from Vons, according to police.

Officers also found the agent’s backpack and clothes, which the men also allegedly took, discarded under the vehicle, Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot told Los Angeles Times.
