Over the years, people have tried some unusual ways to smuggle drugs and people across the U.S.-Mexico border, as photos from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol show.

Agents said when the officer lifted the carpet covering the rear non-factory floor compartment a 31-year-old man and woman, 19, were found. Both were Mexican citizens without the proper documents to enter the United States.
