SAN DIEGO — A 26-year-old man was stabbed Wednesday evening in the East Village neighborhood, authorities said.
It happened around 6:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Commercial Street, according to San Diego police. During a fist fight, another man stabbed the victim on his right side, near his ribs.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Police were searching for the suspect, described as a 35-year-old black man, 5’7″, having a muscular build, a clean shaven face and a scar down his abdomen. He was last seen wearing a light-colored short-sleeve shirt and pants.
