SAN DIEGO — A 56-year-old man suffered serious injury Thursday night after being hit by a car in the Southcrest area of San Diego.
Around 7:50 p.m. near 43rd and Gamma streets, the man was crossing the street not near a crosswalk when he was hit by a 30-year-old woman driving a Toyota Tacoma.
The victim was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center to be treated for head trauma.
The driver cooperated with investigators. No charges have been pressed at this time.
