WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama hadsome explaining to do Tuesday night after showing up at a public event with lipstick on his collar.

When he took the stage at an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month event, he pointed to the stain on his collar and said he wasn’t quite sure how it got there, but he had an idea.

“Where is Jessica Sanchez?” Obama asked.  “Jessica — it wasn’t Jessica, it was her aunt, where is she? Auntie, right there — look at this,” the president said while pointing at the two red smudges on his shirt collar.

“So, I do not want to be in trouble with Michelle,” Obama said.  “That’s why I’m calling you out in front of everybody.”
