YUMA, Ariz. – More than 20 people were injured Thursday after a bus touring agricultural fields rolled over on the side of a rural road in Yuma, according to authorities.
Multiple emergency agencies responded to Avenue 6E and County 3rd Street near Yuma, Arizona around 10 a.m. after the tour bus rolled over, according to Yuma County Sheriff’s spokesman Alfonso Zalvala.
Two military helicopters from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma transported two victims to hospitals in Phoenix , the Yuma Sun reported. Twenty-one other people suffered injures – mostly minor – and were treated at the scene.
Another bus was sent to transport uninjured passengers, the newspaper reported.
The bus was on an agricultural tour of Yuma, according to Zalvala.
