Mexican restaurant robbed

SAN DIEGO — Police today investigated an armed robbery at a Mexican restaurant in San Diego’s Mt. Hope area.

A man armed with a handgun entered Los Reyes Mexican Food at 4239 Market St. around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, demanded and received cash and then fled west on foot, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 10, with a medium build, wearing a black jacket and black hat, Stafford
said.
