SAN DIEGO — A man who may have been armed with a gun used a demand note to rob a bank branch in Mission Valley Wednesday. The robber passed the note to a teller at the Wells Fargo branch at 5624 Mission Center Road about 5:20 p.m., police said. The teller saw what appeared to be the butt of a gun, police said. Police described the suspect as in his late 40s or early 50s, about 6 feet tall and thin with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a white shirt and jeans.
