SAN DIEGO — A man with a gun robbed a Jack-in-the-Box restaurant in Lemon Grove Wednesday.

The suspect entered the fast food restaurant at 7979 Broadway about 2 p.m., jumped the counter and pointed a black pistol at customers and employees and demanded cash, according to Sgt. Jacob Klepach of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect took money from a cash drawer and fled in a cream-colored sedan with tinted back windows, last seen southbound on Lemon Grove Avenue, Klepach said.

The suspect was black, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium to heavy build, Klepach said. He was wearing a baseball cap, black and white bandana covering his face, gray hooded sweatshirt, red flannel shirt, white pants and black gloves, Klepach said.

Anyone with information about this robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
