RAMONA, Calif. – School officials confirmed an employee was found dead on the Ramona High School campus Tuesday.

Someone at the school found the 69-year-old part-time library technician inside the men’s restroom inside the library at 7 a.m., according to school district official.  The man had worked at the school since 2006.

When the body was discovered, only the sophomore class was on campus. They were taking the California high school exit exam.  The rest of the students arrived on campus around 10 a.m. after the body was taken away by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The official referred all inquiries about the incident to San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The school library was closed for the rest of Tuesday out of respect for the employee, officials said.
