SAN DIEGO — Authorities were investigating Sunday after an 18-year-old man man was shot in the chest at a park in the Bay Terraces area, police said.
San Diego police responded to the 6600 block of Potomac Street near the Paradise Hills Recreation Center around 3:40 p.m., when they found a man with a chest wound from gunfire, according to Officer John Buttle.
The victim had gotten into an argument with the shooter when the shooter fired at him, striking him five times, Buttle said in a news release. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they are searching for a man driving in a black Jeep and last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.
