SAN DIEGO — Officers detained a male after a shot was fired at a Jack in the Box in San Ysidro Thursday afternoon, San Diego police said.

The incident was reported around 1:30 p.m. at the fast-food restaurant at 721 E. San Ysidro Boulevard.

No one was wounded by the gunfire, and no property was damaged, police said.
