SAN DIEGO — An abandoned boat was found drifting ashore on Torrey Pines State Beach Wednesday morning.
FOX 5 was at the scene and captured the photo seen at the top of this page. Fishermen can be seen next to the unmanned vessel, which was located just north of the south parking lot.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says this is “suspected human smuggling event.” No arrests have ben made at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
