Local gas prices continues to drop slowly

SAN DIEGO — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since Feb. 10, 2015, decreasing 1.2 cents to $2.677.

The average price has dropped 28 of the past 29 days, decreasing 38.6 cents, including seven-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.7 cents less than a week ago and 37.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 18.5 cents higher than one year ago.
