Gas leak causes road closures in Del Mar

DEL MAR, Calif. — A gas leak caused road closures in Del Mar Friday, said officials.

El Camino Real was closed from Del Mar Heights Road to Neurocrine Place by 10 a.m.

The gas leak was caused after a construction crew hit a gas main, San Diego Fire-Rescue confirmed.

It was not immediately known if authorities would call for evacuations or when the roads would reopen.

No injuries were reported.

The roads were reopen by 11 a.m.
