CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Flames ripped through a bus in Chula Vista Tuesday.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews responded the bus fire in a parking lot at Main Street and 7th Avenue just before 11 a.m.

Helicopter video showed smoke pouring from the charred bus. The front end of the bus caught fire and quickly spread through the cabin.

No one was on the bus when it ignited and no one was injured, according to a fire dispatcher.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
