Police find woman with Alzheimer's who went missing in Escondido

Linda Hallam Brown, 67, has Alzheimer’s disease and was last seen near Mission Avenue and Quince Street in Escondido at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, police said.

ESCONDIDO, Calif. — The Escondido Police Department said Saturday afternoon that a woman who had gone missing Friday night was found Saturday and is safe.

Police reached out to the public Saturday morning for help in finding Brown, who was still missing as of 10:30 a.m.

Linda Hallam Brown, 67, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and was last seen near Mission Avenue and Quince Street in Escondido at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, police said.

At 3:55 p.m., Escondido police said Brown had been located and was safe.
