Missing elderly woman reunited with family

SAN DIEGO — An 81-year-old woman who was reported missing after she went for a walk in her Serra Mesa neighborhood was found unharmed Monday and reunited with her family.

Sueko McLaskey had last been seen by family members at about 10 a.m. Sunday walking toward the CVS store at 3300 Sandrock Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The woman, who suffers from memory loss, was spotted by civilians walking into the Sunrise Town Center at 3820 Convoy Street at about 2 p.m. Sunday, police said.

McLaskey had gone missing before and was previously found walking around in the Mission Valley area.

The exact time and location where McLaskey was found was not disclosed, but she was found unharmed, police said.
