SAN DIEGO – An earthquake shook Baja California near the U.S. – Mexico border Sunday evening.
A magnitude 4.9 earthquake was recorded just before 6 p.m. Sunday near northwest of San Felipe, according to USGS.
There were no major reports of structural damage or any significant injuries.
The rattling was felt in San Diego and Imperial counties.
I just thought I suddenly had a rocking couch, but apparently it was an earthquake.
