3.0-magnitude earthquake hits near Ocotillo Wells

SAN DIEGO — A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck just after 10 p.m. about five miles east southeast of the unincorporated town of Ocotillo Wells in San Diego County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake had a depth of one kilometer.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
